Hallo!
I got atm KDE 3.4.2-r1 (from ~x86!!) ...

But I just can't install KDM ...

What am I doing wrong ?

You already have kdm installed. kdebase provides kdm.

So where is KDM ?

I can't run rc-update add kdm default ...

Then ist says that /etc/init.d/kdm not found ...

The initscript that starts kdm (and gdm and every other X display manager out there) is called xdm.
