hi, i got this error during emerge -e system during installation.. any got any idea?

It's because emerge -e updated gcc, you'll need to use gcc-config to fix it.

I was having the same trouble and found the advice to rebuild glibc and/or gcc ineffective. This thread helped:

which suggested running bootstrap.sh again, and also said to change USE flags to simply "build bootstrap" in order to emerge ncurses, then back to normal after that. Looks like everything's building fine now; I'll know in a few hours. Thought I'd post the above link to save others the time of rebuilding glibc and gcc to no avail.
