Hi. man cpufreqd sais that default polling time should be 1. But without the line..
Code:
poll_interval=1
..cpufreqd has 100% cpu. Ok, even with interval 1 or 2 it has 1-2% CPU usage. Is there a lighter way to switch cpu frequency?

Probably you have some problems in cpufreqd configuration...

You can try "ondemand" as your cpu frequency scaler daemon... select it in the kernel, do the right sys echo and try to find out some documentation ;-).
