During system installation from stage 2, "emerge --emptytree system" crashes because "sys-libs/db" needs "javac" and this command returns:
Code:
livecd / # javac
JVMDG218: JVM is not fully initialized - will not do dump processing.
Segmentation fault

What can I do to fully initialize JVM? Thanks in advance.

You can either disable the java jit compiler by "export JAVA_COMPILER=NONE", or use the new java 5 beta from IBM.
