|If you're like me, you like to know what you're updating (even if you typically don't make any changes to the list)
simply add this line to your crontab
|emerge -DuNp world > update_list > 2>&1 && mail -s "proposed updates for $HOST" username@domain > 2>&1 |
set the time for what you like, but for after you sync. you'll need this line on each box in your network
