I have tried to emerge attr and get the following error:
Quote:

!!! (no error message)
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

I have tried
# /sbin/fix_libtool_files.sh 3.3.5-20050130
and
# /sbin/fix_libtool_files.sh 3.3.5-20050130 --oldarch i386-pc-linux-gnu
but I still get this error.

I currently have gcc-3.3.6 installed. Can anybody help?

Try re-emerging libtool, and if necessary follow up to [resolved] Problems after upgrade gcc to 3.3.5. See also the other links in the FAQ.
