Hi,

Am running Gentoo on a 1.5Ghz 17" Powerbook, very impressed so far, has weened me away from Debian for the first time in years!!

I seem to have lost some RAM somewhere!?!?! Im pretty sure Gentoo was running and detecting the full 1.5Gb, however in top i now only see:

Mem: 773168k total, 170220k used, 602948k free, 8040k buffers

If i boot into OSX that sees the full 1.5Gb, so im 99% sure its functioning ok. Are there any kernel options, or further test i could try?

Any help gratefully appreciated, cheers in advance,

Ed

High memory support, just couldnt find it. All sorted and compiled into the kernel, must have knocked it out somewhere ;)

Thanks for saying what it was! In the last year or so since I've installed I forgot the missing option. :D
