Hi everybody, I've got a problem booting Gentoo/PPC 2005.1 LiveCD on my iBook G4. I can get the yaboot screen but I can't write anything on it. I think its an open firmware problem due to I can't get the Open Firmware console by pressing the CMD+option+O+F keys, instead of this the laptop shuts down.
I've partitioned the HDD with the OSX Disk Utility making 2 partitions: the first is free-space (in which I will install Gentoo) and the 2nd one is HFS+ in which I've installed Mac OS X.
I've tried to boot from other LiveCDs but I have the same problem.
Maybe it's a problem with the partition map.
If someone can help me I'll thank it a lot.

See you.

Yeah, it was a problem with the nvram parameters of the Open Firmware. Just did an OF reset by pressing cmd+option+P+R while booting and now everything is going OK.

Thanks for your attention.
