I have so far finished a great installation on my Toshiba laptop. I am now so happy with the system, that I would 1. like to have it in case of failure on a DVD without a re-install need, and 2. a friend of mine with the same laptop would like to have the system.
Is it somehow possible that I pack all of my system into one tar-file like the stagex-archive of gentoo, burn it to a DVD and extract it like a gentoo stage archive on the destination system, install the bootmanager and have a finished system?
Thanks for your help!
