Ok here is my problem I got two old Pentium II systems on of which I want to use as a basic web site server. While the other I want to setup for a little bit of testing and gaming for my siblings(all they do is those webgames so not much to do with it). I want to hook them up to my network but I can't because I run out of ports on my router once I hook just one up. So I was wondering if I put 2 network cards in the server system how can I set one up to give a internet connection.

But before I can really start anything I need to get Gentoo installed so I can have a very low reasource using system for the server while being able to give a internet connection with a second network card.

Here is some basic specs:
Both have Pentium 2 processors
Server system:
192mb ram
2 hard drives with a total of about 18gb
old ATI agp video card
40x cdrom and a floppy

Other System:
128mb ram
Not sure what size hd is it
old ATI agp video card
24x cdrom and floppy

Also what can I do in the USE="" settings so when I emerge stuff it doesn't install a bunch of stuff that I probably will never need for a server system, and what would be a good GUI for a server that wouldn't suck up all the reasources.

Well Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this and sorry if I wasted anyones time.

A good gui for the server is the command line. If you want you can install a xserver and some apps, but do not start any of them. You can then display them on another machine when connecting to the server. This way you dont even need a grahpics card or keyboard in your server once it is setup. You have of course to set "Do not halt on any errors" in the bios for this to work.

For the server/router with two nics there is the router config howto in the docs section and some nice info in the DT&T section for firewalling, antivirus, ...

For the USE Flags you can explicitely disable all the usual desktop bindings with -USEFLAG for all multimedia, kde, gnome, qt, gtk, gtk2. If a package you install can not be built without one of those, it automatically gets built with them and pulls them in as a dependency.
