Hi,

I already failed on installing with tzhe CFLags i686 settings, as the SP8000 is an VIA EDEN EBGA 800MHz processor and only supports i5586 instructions!
But it supports sse and mmx (not 3dnow anymore like the old M6000 etc.)!

I now want try to install it with
CFLAGS="-march=i586 -msse -mmmx -mfpmath=sse"

On the following page someone says one could use the P4 stage. But I'm not sure as the P4 supports i686?

Do I have to use stage3 x86?

THX,
Dennis
