kdelibs seams to be broken. Could you remerge kdelibs and then try again to emerge kdebase?

cheers

Am getting the same errors :(

While attemping to upgrade from KDE 3.4.1... kdelibs installed fine, but then the base died with very similar errors:

XPath is a libxml2 component. Did you tried to remerge dev-libs/libxml2? Maybe this will help?

cheers

tried re-emerging libxml2, and that emerged fine, but kdebase still errors out.

Thanks!
