not so much as wrong commands but I do get this when it boots up, * (in red) net.eth0:cannot start until runlevel boot has completed.

/etc/conf.d/net: line 6: unexpected EOF while looking for match

/etc/conf.d/net: syntax error: unexpected end of file

and then it goes down and theres this default gw 192.168.0.1..........!!(are in red)would like to know a real one.....
then when I log in I get this when I try to do "emerge", "temporary failure in name resolution:..
can you help..............the livecd that I used was the experamental one and my friend tried to load with some of the programs that you check to add-in but that did not load so he did a default load and I think I was not able to get everything because I had to leave and I live 25 minutes from him and had to break internet access? Got home and plugged back to internet and it just compiled until sunday morning about 8 and it said install completed! And we did not do anything to the kernel!!!!!!!!
