Hi all

I've got a problem with portage / eix.

Some informations are very strange when I using emerge or eix:

Code:

eix kscd
* kde-base/kscd
     Available versions:  !3.4.1 !3.4.2 !3.4.3 !3.5.0
     Installed:           3.5.0
     Homepage:            SRC_URI=kdexdeltas? ( mirror://kde/stable/3.5/src/kdemultimedia-3.5.0.tar.bz2 ) !kdexdeltas? ( mirror://kde/stable/3.5/src/kdemultimedia-3.5.0.tar.bz2 )
     Description:         RDEPEND=|| ( ~kde-base/libkcddb-3.5.0 ) ~kde-base/kde-env-3 !=kde-base/kdemultimedia-3.5*

Usualy, Homepage contents the Homepage, and Description, yeah, the description...

In portage it looks like that:

Code:

nice emerge -pv --oneshot  =dev-java/sun-jdk-1.4.2.10 =app-emulation/wine-20050930 =app-office/openoffice-bin-2.0.1 =kde-base/kdemultimedia-kioslaves-3.5.0 =kde-base/kscd-3.5.0

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild   RF  ] dev-java/sun-jdk-1.4.2.10  USE="X% browserplugin mozilla -alsa% -doc -examples -jce -nsplugin" 35,592 kB
[ebuild   R   ] app-emulation/wine-20050930  USE="X cups esd gif glut jpeg lcms ncurses opengl oss truetype xml2 -alsa -arts -debug -jack -ldap -nas -scanner" 0 kB
[ebuild   R   ] app-office/openoffice-bin-2.0.1  USE="java -gnome" 0 kB
[ebuild   R   ] kde-base/kdemultimedia-kioslaves-3.5.0  USE="encode flac kdeenablefinal mp3 vorbis -arts -debug -kdexdeltas -xinerama" 5,390 kB
[ebuild   R   ] kde-base/kscd-3.5.0  USE="kdeenablefinal -arts -debug -kdexdeltas -xinerama" 0 kB

Total size of downloads: 40,982 kB

USE="X% browserplugin mozilla -alsa% -doc -examples -jce -nsplugin" in the java-ebuild is a bit strange...

I don't know why this is, but I know that I removed some files (like the portage cache), but after that I made a emerge sync. I merged the newest portage and reemerged eix as well, in hope that the problem vanishes, but I still have this problem.

Does someone know this problem, or where I could find something that helps...?

Thanks in advance
Chris
