Hi

Before I submit a bug rep for this I wanted to check I wasn't going mad! :?

I've bought a Audigy2 ZS Notebook for my powerbook, which is being supported by alsa, but the new code is in 1.0.11rc2 for alsa-driver and its giving me grief.

Alot of rubbish module errors and now it won't build! 8O how that can be is beyond me!

I've 'cleaned' my system of alsa and tried again, still with problems.

Anyone had success installing and using alsa-driver 1.0.11rc2 on ppc?

btw the ppc secific patch is missing from the ebuild currently in portage so it won't build without that added back in.

and cvs builds fine but still give me unknown symbols when loading the modules :/

thanks
scooby

have you tried compiling alsa directly in the kernel? im not sure if the module for that card is available in the kernel or not.

Hi there, yes, I have, but thats only 1.0.10rc3 in the latest kernel, so its a little out of date and doesn't have the fixes included for my card.

I've also tried updating alsa within the kernel with the latest cvs, but it won't build :/

Thanks anyway.
