Just an idea, if its been thought of already and/or its out there already, lemme know cause id like to sign up.

Well, if you become a dev or AT... (wait, do ATs get @gentoo.org emails? I remember the flame war, but not how it ended).

I guess you might also be able to get one if you paid the Foundation plenty of moolah. Thoughts?

There was an idea about giving AT/HTs @staff.gentoo.org email addreses or similar. I'm not sure how that ended or what resulted from it.

There was also a campaign to give people @users.gentoo.org addresses, but I don't think there would be enough infrastructure for that. Not certain of what came about as a result of either of these two suggestions

I don't see why this should be done. Gentoo should not waste its limited resources on running a mail server. The project is about building an operating system, not about providing various services to its users.

If you want an @gentoo.org email address, I suggest you either become a developer or a moderator on the forums.
