Wow, sounds good. Would be nice to read the first experiences of ppc users here.
Some of the free players I already had working such as old gplflash, but I was very unsatisfied with the performance and mostly they were not compatible.

Just so everyone is aware, there isn't a working mozilla/firefox plugin yet, so right now it's just a seperate flash player. It also uses OpenGL for rendering, so I wouldn't expect great performance on non-accelerated PPC machines.

I've tried it using r300 driver(ati 9600 mobility), but it's quite slow. I don't know if it's due to the bad opengl performance or to gnash itself.
The simplest example of animation I've tried is http://www.rufinisanti.it/intro_rufini.swf, and it run sooo slow.

But I'm sure that can't rain all the time.

I've tried to run the same file on x86 with i915G card, and it runs fine except for the bad antialiasing.
