Ok well i finished installation and then i restarted without the disc, and i got GRUB GRUB GRUB about 500 million times on my screen none stop going. What did i do wrong? I was so careful to get everything right this time.

ya but i never really found the solution there, plus i had to reformat just to get back into linux *Gotta start all over*=(
Sumone help so i dont do this again

NO! There was no need to reformat everything.

All you should have done, was to reboot with the live cd to edit your grub.conf. But hey, after all installing it once again is a good exercise. :lol:

I could solve this problem by emerging grub from the unstable branch.

Ok this will be my fourth attempt.. lol, anyways, well i couldnt get out of GRUB million times on ym screen even when i try to boot from cd or not.

the link loki99 gave here led to a page which now on the very top says that the whole documentation is now a official Gentoo Documentation Project document and the error is described where this link takes you.
