Hello,

I recently installed Gentoo on an old blueberry ibook, and I am trying to get a linksys wireless card to work. (WUSB54GC) I saw on linux-wlan.org that a similar card (WUSB54G) is reported as a working card, so I went ahead and purchased this one to see what I could do. Unfortunately, I cannot tell what chipset the card is using! The computer realizes that the card is plugged in, but lsusb will not show the chipset information.

Code:

Does anyone here have this card working, or happen to know which driver it requires?

Thanks for your help-

WUSB54GC is from Linksys a division from Cisco but I think it is produced from http://www.ralinktech.com/supp-1.htm. There it has the part number RT2571W/RT2671. At least I managed to work it as that under Gentoo see https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-3772592.html#3772592.
Now I don't care what company has put the last sticker on :!:
