Hi, All...

Trying to emerge the components for nxserver-freenx-0.5.0-r3, I reached a barrier with:
Code:
cgmd # emerge -v =net-misc/nxproxy-1.5.0-r3
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) net-misc/nxproxy-1.5.0-r3 to /
!!! Security Violation: A file exists that is not in the manifest.
!!! File: nxproxy-1.5.0-r1.ebuild

I have already downloaded the file nxproxy-1.5.0-r1.ebuild, but I don't understand the error message, and I don't know what to do with the file to correct this problem. :(

Would someone please give me some direction with this?

Thanks...

try "ebuild digest /path/to/ebuild" first.

Did you try to emerge while executing emerge sync?

Moved from Portage & Programming to Duplicate Threads, see Portage does more security checks? Digest verification fails
