Could someone please look at the log below and suggest a possible reason why I lose dns after chrooting? 192.168.1.254 is my adsl router.

Hi.

I bet you skipped the Handbook step on copying /etc/resolv.conf into the chroot. Outside the chroot do cp /etc/resolv.conf /mnt/gentoo/etc/resolv.conf. Now try again. Does it work?
