EDIT: Was booting into the wrong kernel...oops :D

Hi, everyone! Bcm43xx refuses to work on my powerbook. Whenever I try to modprobe it, I get
Code:
FATAL: Error inserting bcm43xx (/lib/modules/2.6.16-rc3/net/wireless/bcm43xx.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

In dmesg it says:
Code:
bcm43xx: Unknown symbol bcm43xx_debugfs_add_device
bcm43xx: Unknown symbol bcm43xx_debugfs_log_txstat
bcm43xx: Unknown symbol bcm43xx_debugfs_init
bcm43xx: Unknown symbol bcm43xx_debugfs_exit
bcm43xx: Unknown symbol bcm43xx_debugfs_remove_device

I am on kernel 2.6.16-rc3, and I got the latest bcm43xx snapshot (the all-in-one) from the berlios.de site.

Anyone have any clue what is going on?

Thanks!

You built with debugging support. Either enable debugfs support in your kernel or disable bcm43xx debugging support.

I tried removing bcm43xx debugging support, and it didn't seem to work, but I may have mis-entered something. Where do I find debugfs support? Thanks!

EDIT: Removing bcm43xx debugging support didn't work.

Enable kernel debugging first.
But just type a / then enter a search term and press enter when in menuconfig. You'll get a list of found matches plus where you can find the config options

Thanks, found it :D Recompiling kernel as we speak.

EDIT: Still didn't work. I turned on DEBUG_FS, all of the debugging support in the bcm43xx, ieee80211softmac, and general networking, but it does not want to work. Same errors.
