I can't emerge the drivers... I have a Radeon 9700 128MB on a Powerbook 5,6.

Here is what I get when I emerge:
Code:

>>> emerge (1 of 1) x11-drivers/ati-drivers-8.22.5 to /
 * Determining the location of the kernel source code
 * Found kernel source directory:
 *     /usr/src/linux
 * Found sources for kernel version:
 *     2.6.16-rc3
 * Checking for MTRR support enabled ...
 * You don't have MTRR support enabled, the direct rendering
 * will not work.
 * Checking for AGP support enabled ...
 * Checking for DRM support disabled ...
 * X11 implementation is xorg-x11.
>>> Unpacking source...
 * Unpacking Ati drivers ...

!!! ERROR: x11-drivers/ati-drivers-8.22.5 failed.
!!! Function src_unpack, Line 123, Exitcode 126
!!! unpack failed

I am on Xorg 7.

Thanks!

at-drivers are binary drivers from ati and are only available for x86 and amd64. That means you can't use them on a ppc machine.
