Code:
physicsmastah martin # emerge -av mplayer

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Do you want me to merge these packages? [Yes/No] y

How can I fix this?

There's some program to recompute the digest if the sync should still fail, it would be advisable to manually compute the digest and crosscheck it with the website providing the files:

Code:

ebuild /usr/portage/media-video/mplayer/mplayer-1.0.20060217.ebuild digest

Please, please don't recalculate the digest. Just wait a while and resync your portage tree.

Moved from Portage & Programming to Duplicate Threads in favour of mplayer-1.0.20060415 emerge fails.
