The iBook has an PS/2 keyboard MS-Tech LT-300, 2 connected over USB converter.
Only 4 of the special keys are working, anyhow the important ones: sleep, mute and VolUp/VolDown (curiously inverted).
Is it possible to get the rest working? I tried to get it working with xmms-itouch.
But even showkey gives no output for these other keys.

Thanks. Does xev show anything else then showkey does? showkey doesn't show anything for these keys whereas for the functional mute and sleep keys it does.
It's just because xev wouldn't compile without a lot of ~ppc dependencies.

That's because the xev package is part of modular X. It's included in the monolithic X packages (6.8) already.
