Well, MOL is an AWESOME sofware in my humble opinion, but the only version of MAC OS shipped with my MAC MINI G4 was MAC OS 10.3.3, wich I updated to 10.3.9.

Mol compiles and installs ok, and it gets as far as to be able to serve me for daily use of MA OS X under Gentoo, but sound is no way good: mp3 playback sounds dirty, out-of-sync, and I suspect there's something wrong in my config files that you guys have solved before. I use the DEFAULT ALSA device.

I have built the 2.6.19-r5 gentoo kernel with BUILT-IN ALSA support (totally disabled OSS); I have other little annoyances with this new snd-aoa driver, like being unable to set the volume on ALSAMIXER, that could be related to this issue. Any ideas?

Thanks guys!! :D

Audio in MOL is currently a mess due to kernel changes that happened around 2.6.12ish. I haven't fixed it yet since there are so many other things that need work.

As for your audio, make sure you didn't compile in the dummy device, this is the most common reason why you can't change the audio in alsamixer.

Wow! thanks for the personal answer, Jose! It's a real honour to be answered by the lead PPC GENTOO programmer.
I'll wait till it's fixed then; thanks again for the great work!

In OSX, Applications --> Utilities --> Audio Midi Setup, try 44100Hz or 48000Hz for "format" of "Audio Devices".
