Hello again, patient people of the Gentoo tribe!

I have compiled the fresh MOL 0.9.72 release, but it seems to be unable to work anymore.
I have used MOL 0.9.72_PRE2 for weeks with no problem at all (except ugly sound even for system events). I have MACOS 9.1 installed in his respective partitions of my little MAC MINI G4 wonder, and it used to boot up and be perfectly usable. My kernel is Gentoo-sources-2.19-r5.
Alsa sound support is built-in, as is framebuffer support for fullscreen MOL.

Then yesterday I decided to give the new MOL 0.9.72 a try, hoping this new version has cristaline sound. Compiled with no problems (I really like the kmake menu; MOL integration into a PPC Kernel has a lot of sense from my humble opinion). Ran molvconfig, used the same rc configuration files than the previous version...But it just does NOT boot.
I could look for a solution myself, if it wasn't because I DON'T get any error message: if I go back to text console with MOL running and manually kill the MOL process, I can see that it started flawlesly, with no error report at all. Finds the MAC ROM, starts the sound and graphics enviroment...But all I get is a blank screen of death or, in the best case, the nice penguin-goes-american-pie picture if I try to --cdboot from my install disks. Self-testing parameters report modules load ok. Tried to disable AltiVec, sound, etc..but no luck.

any ideas, people?Thanks! :D

It doesn't sound like you used the ebuild? (I'm upstream for MOL, gentoo *always* has the latest version in portage).

Try compiling with -O1 instead of -O2, some people have reported problems with -O2. Also, please paste in the whole boot log so I can see where it stopped. (Even if you see no errors.)

Ok; will try the E-BUILD and will use -O 2, too.
I will get the boot log pasted here when I connect again (no internet at home):

Thanks!
