Hello! I've recently begun to use a console instant messaging client that has the ability to trigger the system bell when I receive a message. Back when I used to use the older powermac driver, the beep worked just fine, and I actually ended up disabling it with my ~/.inputrc. I've now explicitly turned the audible bell back on in my .inputrc, yet it isn't audible for anything. I found one similar post, but the user was using the powermac driver, and the link he gave for the patch was long gone. Is it possible to get a system bell out of this driver? Or am I out of luck?

Thank you!
Jeremy
