Hi there,
I made another thread about an issue that I am having with my wireless card I got a few days ago. My question is what non Mac OS X endorsed wireless cards have you gotten to work? I'm looking for something with a USB interface and it should be current so that I can find it in stores near me. (Alberta, Canada). Any suggestions?
Thanks very much!
~Ian

Well, support for USB wi-fi adapters in linux isn't very good, especially on PPC. I know some people have had luck with the ZD1211 USB devices, perhaps try to find a recent device with that chipset.

I am using a Sagem ZD1211(54M) card, which works quite well. I tried also DWL-122(11M) and ZyAir ZD1201(11M), they also worked.

A long time ago (way before bcm43xx was usable) I used a Linksys WUSB11 ver. 2.5 USB thingy (not a key, the one that looked like a mini AP with a USB connection). That worked fairly well, though that may have been with Ubuntu. That had a Prism chipset in it.
