HI, I've got Gentoo up and running on my PS3 with a KDE WE and I'm loving it so far, however I've got a 500GIg External HD and I'm trying to make it compatible with my system in the terms of read/write, and from what I gather I need to install sys-fs/fuse on my machine, however whenever I try to install I get this error message in my output:

Code:
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.20-gentoo-r5'

If anyone could give me some pointers to fix this situation I would appreciate it, I suspect it may have something to do with my menuconfig file in /usr/src/linux, although I'm not exactly sure what the problem is so I don't want to be switching stuff around without knowing what I'm doing first, thank you!

Please, post the output of
Code:
emerge --info

[EDIT]
It seems that you have enable -m64 in your CFLAGS (CXXFLAGS) 'cause you have a ppc64 arch (for ps3). But for an unknown reason (at least to me), when compiling with kernel sources it complains about:
Quote:
-m64 requires a PowerPC64 cpu

So, i don't know what could be happening. See if the emerge --info part helps to find out a solution.
[/EDIT]
Cheers.
