HOWTO Download & Save HD Quicktime Movie Trailers.
First, make sure you have mplayer & mplayerplug-in compiled with Quicktime support.
If you haven't emerged them or didn't compile them with Quicktime support, then type:
| Code: | | USE="quicktime" emerge mplayer mplayerplug-in |
Second, make some slight modification at .mplayer/mplayerplug-in.conf file by adding this one line
If you want to save the movies at another location, just modify the dload-dir and point it to the designated folder.
Finally, launch Firefox, and with enough patience, those HD trailers would be yours. Now, you can watch them over & over again by using mplayer. |
