Hi, I just recently have gotten WPA working with my bcm4306 card and am using the 2.6.20.3 vanilla kernel.
I've noticed alot of spamming in the logs related to WPA such as the following:

Code:

bcm43xx: Keys cleared
bcm43xx: Selected 802.11 core (phytype 2)
bcm43xx: set security called, .level = 0, .enabled = 0, .encrypt = 0
bcm43xx: set security called, .level = 0, .enabled = 0, .encrypt = 0
bcm43xx: set security called, .level = 0, .enabled = 0, .encrypt = 0
bcm43xx: set security called, .level = 0, .enabled = 0, .encrypt = 0
printk: 157 messages suppressed.
SoftMAC: Open Authentication completed with 00:18:4d:04:50:10
bcm43xx: set security called, .active_key = 0, .level = 2, .enabled = 1, .encrypt = 1
TKIP: ICV error detected: STA=00:18:4d:04:50:10
bcm43xx: set security called, .enabled = 1, .encrypt = 1
printk: 473 messages suppressed.
TKIP: ICV error detected: STA=00:18:4d:04:50:10
printk: 532 messages suppressed.
TKIP: ICV error detected: STA=00:18:4d:04:50:10

The STA addresses are the MAC addresses of other computers connected to the same wireless network as me.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

thanks

-Q

Maybe you have enabled debug messages for bcm43xx module. Check to see if you have

CONFIG_BCM43XX_DEBUG=y

in your kernel config. Then you may want to switch off debug.
