Hello! Updated to swfdec-0.5.2, fixed a nasty video driver issue and got full-speed videos playing in youtube. However, alsa (or whatever swfdec is using) is really messed up as I get nothing but random static in place of sound. Is this a known issue or is something misconfigured? Thank you!

It's most likely an endian issue. I'll look into it later this week.

If you're using firefox check 0.5.3 version, here it's a huge leap ahead
(even if still not 100% perfect it seems much better than gnash),
the only real drwaback is that isn't working so good with konqueror

Thank you very much. I am running 0.5.3 and the video seems to work perfectly but the sound is still just static :-/

Here I'd say it worked (at least with flash games I tried) but I can't be sure if there was a package to emerge,
something to configure or what.
