Brands/models?

- Brother 420 CN (network printing + scanning)

- Orite Swing-Cam (as long as it's functional)

Thanks.

Well, dunno about network printing, but here, apparently Brother has drivers for it :)

Webcam - it looks like there should be something here, but it doesn't load for me (maybe site's down or something).

EDIT - I agree about the avatar... Alyssa Milano.

Hm. I just kinda practiced I think... and somehow got good? I really had no idea I had any special talent with google. (I'm still not sure that this isn't a joke ;))

Um...

give me something to search, I'll try to write down my search terms, I guess :P

I want to know if there is a program for Linux with the capabilities of one of the most magnificent Windows programs known to man. If there is an alternative to it, millions of Windows users will finally make the switch. This is indeed the killer app of our time. The program is called Bonzi Buddy.

/me waits patiently for the results.

The alternative to Bonzi Buddy --> "a Unix-like computer operating system; one of the most prominent examples of open source development and free software; unlike proprietary operating systems such as Windows or Mac OS X, all of its underlying source code is available for anyone to use, modify, and redistribute freely." :P

In other words, get rid of m$ and its spyware, use linux.

I'm looking for an app that will categorize and catalog my porn by type, name, orientation and species, and make it fully searchable with a comprehensive keywording system. Add-on bonuses like "view more info" and a tool to help me find similar things would be great as well.
If Amarok can do it for my music collection...

@Freelight - here's a start :lol:

@greasy... yeah, I guess nobody else thinks Bonzi was good (without considering the spyware) Assemble it out of widgets on whatever your Dashboard/Konfabulator-esque program is!

A good, stable, 3D chess game.

I've tried GLChess (buggy, didn't work with me), and pouetchess was just slooow (requires a GeForce card, and all I've got is an i868).

I'm going to look into slibo, but replys would be welcome :)

I second that. All the ones that are in linux are either half-finished or do not work properly (take too much cpu).

This probably doesn't exist, but whatever :)

I wanna replace my K button with some sort of start-menu, in which I can use text, icons, and icons+text as entries for applications, and have total control over the icon-sizes!

Surprise me, please!
