I have trouble getting the sixaxis up and running via bluetooth

I have emerged bluez-utils and bluez-libs
/etc/init.d/bluetooth start, seems to be ok, but complains with
"Can't open RFCOMM control socket: Adress family not supported by protocol"
"Can't open HIDP control socket: Adress family not supported by protocol"

The bluetooth tools won't work but gives similar errors

Do I have to compile my own kernel? Is it possible under some stable-like kernel? Perhaps using genkernel as well?

This, did not work either. Portage didn't find PS3-SOURCES even in the garlicbread-ps3-overlay...

btw, what is ps3pf_utils ?
Any help appreciated

the ps3-sources are provided as part of the cell overlay. Ensure subversion has been emerged (equery l subversion) and then emerge layman and follow the directions to check out the 'cell' overlay.

you can use genkernel like any other platform.

there have been lots of requests for information about bt, whether it is simaxis or bt keyboards. I do not have a bt keyboard to test with. If we can document bt function, I can be sure the next media/stages have support all set to go.

I forgot about emerge --sync for a short while there
