Pessoal,

Ontem durante a instalação a partir do stage 1, ocorreu esse erro após ser dado o comando emerge system.
Para ter uma noção do que aconteceu eu redirecionei a saida para um arquivo texto, reproduzido abaixo:

Infelizmente as ultimas mensagens de erro foram apresentadas na tela e não estão ai ...

o openafs faz parte do emerge system? Nao na minha maquina, pelo menos...

tente um emerge unmerge openafs se nao precisas dele.

Creio que faça, pois eu apenas digitei emerge system, ai ele começou a baixar vários pacotes e compilá-los. Porém, dá erro nesse ... e agora quando eu digito emerge system ele pula direto para esse arquivo e dá o erro.
Como funcionaria isso, eu digitaria emerge system, e após dar o erro eu digitaria emerge unmerge openafs ?? E esse openafs não vai fazer falta?? Pra que ele serve, vc sabe??

primeiro o emerge unmerge openafs, para desinstalá-lo se estiver instalado.

o OpenAFS é um sistema de arquivos distribuídos, que se você não sabe o que é, provavelmente não fará muita falta.

Poder eu até posso ...
Porém, como ainda não tenho o gentoo instalado não dá para eu copiar o conteúdo apresentado na tela. Será que com um emerge -p system >> progs.txt eu conseguiriia salvar em um arquivo a lista de progs?? Outra, tendo essa lista, eu posso escolher (alterar) os progs que vão ser instalados?? Se sim, como faço??

sim, emerge -p system > file.txt deve fazer o serviço. >> faz com que o conteúdo seja anexado ao arquivo file.txt (append), enquanto que > apaga o arquivo se ele já existir.

Podes sempre tentar fazer o emerge manual de cada pacote apresentado no emerge system -p, usando -p em cada tentativa para identificar quais os pacotes de dependências que também seriam instalados.

De acordo com um etcat depends openafs, os pacotes kth-krb, findutils, samba-tng, cyrus-imap-admin, cyrus-imapd dependem de openafs.

The problem is caused by findutils, that requires openafs package...

Simply put '-afs' in your USES (in make.conf) and then reemerge :D
