It should be quite easy to install since it is done via setup.py.

It takes very little to create a python install.

Look at porthole's ebuild as well as a great deal of others. Besides the obvious of filling in the data for homepage, etc.

make sure you:
Code:

inherit distutils

src_install() {
   distutils_src_install



Plus anything else you might want to do

eg:
Code:
 dodoc TODO README NEWS AUTHORS COPYING


everything else will be looked after by the packages setup.py script
