I run Lotus Notes 8 (eclipse) and set it to use my "operating systems default browser" to open URL in emails i click on.
But when i do, it starts kedit displaying an empty new document.

The internal browser of LN8 isnt working too - it gives me the error message:

Version of LN8 is:
Release 8.0.1
Revision 20080214.1630 (Release 8.0.1)
Standard Configuration

I use fluxbox, no gnome or kde installed.

Any idea what could cause this problems ?

Greetz, ezfox :)

I am using LN8. But I finally found out what the problem was: it seems that LN8 is using the first entry from the mime database:/usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache

In my case, emacsclient was refered to handle text/html at the first place.

I installed chrome and it solve my problem because chromium is now at the first place... This is a rather side-effect solution... ;-(
