OO.o has a know problem with ibm-jdk. Perhaps gcj would do instead. If not disable the java use flag.

Hi
What
Code:
find /opt -name 'libjawt*'
gives ?
I had problems with these libraries too and added soft links.

Hi.

I've added a link to ibm-jdk-bin-1.6.0.1 as to be like 1.5.0.7. I'll try it later and i'll post the results.

Code:

/opt/ibm-jdk-bin-1.5.0.7/jre/bin/libjawt.so
/opt/ibm-jdk-bin-1.6.0.1/jre/bin/libjawt.so
/opt/ibm-jdk-bin-1.6.0.1/jre/lib/ppc/libjawt.so

Cheers

I'm currently trying to emerge OpenOffice on my ppc64. I had to add the keywords, of course. I'm running into some problems of my own that probably aren't related, so I'll start a new thread for that when I'm ready.

By creating the symlink in ibm-jdk-1.6.0.1/bin to ibm-jdk-1.6.0.1/lib/ppc it managed to sort it out !
