|Hi, I am using Xen 3.2.1.
My dom0 has 2 network interfaces, one I configure with a public ip address in /etc/conf.d/net and one i leave unconfigured using "null".
Despite the advice given in:
I am leaving Xen to deal with my networking, and for the configured IP address things are working very nicely.
My dom0 can be reached by its ip address (which seems to be bound to the bridge) and if I create domUs and attach them to that bridge with appropriate ip addresses I can reach those two.
My problem is the second, unconfigured interface.
I would like to attach that nic to a different router, leave it totally unconfigured in dom0 but create a bridge with it, and some other domUs which I can then give private addresses (192.168.0.x) and include in my private network.
Because that second nic doesnt have an ip address when the Xen scripts run, it doesnt create a "peth1" interface.
I have tried making a bridge manually but while I can create the bridge and attach domUs vif interfaces to it, the network for the second bridge doesn't seem to work.
Can anyone advise me?
