Hello,

I am not sure to be in the right place here to ask questions about screen. I have mapped actions in vim when pressing shift-right or shift-left (in fact this enables me to move between vim's tabs). But when using vim inside screen, these mappings do not work anymore.
Would ayone know how to change this please?
Thanks.

Poloch

I think the problem is when you're running normally vs screen your terminal is different. Try running "echo $TERM" both with and without screen running - you should find it changes.

The only way I'm aware of around this is to set up two sets of keybindings - one for your normal terminal and one for screen. Most programs will automatically use a different set of bindings depending on the terminal type.
