I'm using the desktop-effects portage overlay, and using Compiz-Fusion 0.7.6. Fusion Icon and CCSM (CompizConfig Settings Manager) used to work, then suddenly they stopped working. I tried re-emerging them, but I get these errors when trying to start them from the terminal:

Fusion-Icon
Code:
 * Detected Session: gnome
 * Searching for installed applications...
 * NVIDIA on Xorg detected, exporting: __GL_YIELD=NOTHING
 * Using the GTK Interface
 * No module named gtk
 ... Trying another interface
 * Using the Qt4 Interface
 * No module named PyQt4
 ... Trying another interface
 * Using the Qt3 Interface
 * Interface not installed
 *** Error: All interfaces failed, aborting!

CCSM
Code:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/ccsm", line 23, in <module>
    import pygtk
ImportError: No module named pygtk

I'm using gnome, so Fusion-Icon should see GTK, and I do have pygtk emerged.

Oh, and Compiz is working just fine, I just can't mess with the plugins.

To start compiz from command line:
Code:
compiz ccp --replace
It is possible that some of your library are broken after an update, try
Code:
sudo revdep-rebuild
P.S.: The correct way(lazy way :roll: ) to emerge compiz in gentoo is
Code:
sudo emerge -av compiz-fusion
This will pull in all necessary packages.

Compiz-Fusion is working. :P

Just not CCSM or Fusion-Icon.

Also, revdep-rebuild didn't find anything to do.

Did you update python recently? Try running
Code:
