Konqueror 4.2 is better than firefox, and qt firefox is still extremely buggy anyway.

Pff... if there is firebug for it, maybe... and foxmarks. And an adblock filter that is as good as adblock plus.

Is there any progress on the qt firefox? Any news, recent builds?

There is a live ebuild for xulrunner and firefox in bugzilla that I'm trying out. So far, xulrunner isn't building for me

I find it hilarious that you would say that, that's like saying I don't test things I make. If you don't use a browser to make a webpage then you wont be making much of a website. Or just one that wont be rendered properly. You must realize Konqueror is .0000001% of the browser marker, Firefox is near 30% and safari is fighting for possibly 10-15 with all the iphones out there, making ie still in the lead. Even with macs the majority use Firefox yet alone with Linux Firefox is 99% default of most distros. Extensions are the most important thing a in browser imho. In my humble opinion Konqueror (was) (3.5.10 is) the best file manager for kde bit its a really lacking browser.

and just because you have problems with Firefox means nothing compared to that other 30% that have almost no problems, but that 0000001% that use Konqueror as a web browser use it because they want to test it most likely ;P

Enjoy your file manager

i mean web file browser manager

konqueror is a good browser
the only thing it lacks in my opinion are
equivalents for noscript and cookiesafe
which are easily accessible

The same than the past years: dead as far as I can tell.

http://hg.mozilla.org/users/vladimir_mozilla.com/mozilla-qt

For the dates on the repository, I'd say that during one week each year someone commits *something* into the repository, people start screaming again here and at slashdot and a few blogs, then it goes dormant again until the next year. Just forget about it, I don't think it's going to happen.

Shame, would be nice to get rid of gtk+ (not that I've any problems with GTK, but only firefox uses it...)
