I'm hoping some one can help me out, because I'm confused. So I installed KDE 4.1 from the overlays, and the number of plasma widgets is remarkably tiny. I installed it on my laptop with archlinux, and i had, among other things, a fuzzy clock and "view desktop" button at my disposal. These are not in the default gentoo installation.

So in an attempt to find them, I went looking and found kde-extras. Its description says that it's a package set. So I tried an emerge kde-extras, and I got a package not found. So I tried emerge =kde-extras-4.1, and portage says that it's not a valid package atom.

So what's a package set? How do I use it? And if I'm barking up the wrong tree, how do I get my beloved fuzzy clock back (and maybe a weather widget?)

I think you have lost the following package

kde-base/kdeplasma-addons

and, if you use the svn packages

kde-misc/playground-plasma

too.
