Changes since 177.76:

* Fixed a performance regression affecting the gtkperf lines and circles test.
* Updated the X driver to consider /sys/class/power_supply when determining the AC power state.
* Fixed corruption when using SLI in SFR mode with OpenGL-based composite managers.

well, afaik mobile gpu's are pretty good atm. i guess you have an 8400m gs too :).

i see that gtkperf is slow as usual. (details : add text in GtkTextView is horribly slow during 1000 round test - takes about 140s with 177.78. last time with 177.76, the test was so slow that i didnt have the patience to complete it :p. then again, i am using relatively old stuff like gtk 2.10 and xorg-server 1.3.0.) i don't know if these mean anything in practice as i am pretty happy with 2d performance - like firefox and such. in any case, everything else like 3d and video and power management work like dream :).

Could someone post a SHA256/512 hash of the AMD64 package please? One can never be too paranoid. :P

I opened a new tread for it here for the 177.80 driver.
