Has someone already hacked together an ebuild for Firefox 3.1 beta1?

If so please post...

if you don't want to use the -bin version but compile firefox 3.1 beta, use devnull overlay and unmask it :)
http://hg.core.ws/devnull/ or "layman -a devnull"

pulled from here earlier today.

enabled tracemonkey, dunno if its faster but all my javascript runs well though.

fyi, if you're (as I was) very attached to the 'new tab' button and the tabbar not being visible when only one tab is open... check out this bug, particuliarly the attachment on comment #16. its an extension that brings the movable 'new tab' button back.
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=456984#c16

this isn't just pointed at the mozilla devs, but sometimes the sheer stupidity of some UI alterations boggles my mind. IE7 is the same way though with their none hideable tab bar decision.

[edit] that extension doesn't look like it works on my gentoo ff3.1b...crud.

Can't seem to install 3.1 beta 1. The package net-libs/xulrunner-1.9.1_beta1-r1 can't find a file called gfxDirectFBSurface.h:
Code:
gfxASurface.cpp:59:32: error: gfxDirectFBSurface.h: No such file or directory
gfxASurface.cpp: In static member function 'static already_AddRefed<gfxASurface> gfxASurface::Wrap(cairo_surface_t*)':
gfxASurface.cpp:176: error: expected type-specifier before 'gfxDirectFBSurface'
gfxASurface.cpp:176: error: cannot convert 'int*' to 'gfxASurface*' in assignment
gfxASurface.cpp:176: error: expected `;' before 'gfxDirectFBSurface'
gmake[5]: *** [gfxASurface.o] Error 1
gmake[5]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

Anyone knows where I can get the header file or what package has to be updated?

Hmm, re-merged cairo without DirectFB, and now xulrunner seems to compile just fine.
