Hello!

I'm trying to stream a radio station to my Xbox360. I'm using a piece of software called TwonkyVision, which does a nice enough job.

That said, it seems my 360 (or Twonky) disallow me from streaming anything but valid shoutcast sources, or near as I can tell.

I was wondering if I could somehow convert the radio station in question by way of my linux box acting as a proxy, to a shoutcast station, which twonkyvision could then stream forward to my 360.

The station in question is here:

mms://a293.l961738292.c9617.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/293/9617/v0001/reflector:38292

(Forgive me if I've used wrong terminology - I haven't delved much into internet radio stuff.)

Thanks!

VLC can do this (play a file, mms included, and stream it to the net).
Something like
Code:
vlc -vvv --color <input> --sout "#std{access=shout{name=MyTest},mux=ogg,dst=login:password@ip:port}"

VLC has to be compiled with USE="ffmpeg vorbis shout stream" at least.
