Hi,
I need to install an old version of a package. How can i do that (force emerge)?

Make sure the ebuild is still in the tree, (if not, get a copy and make a local tree)

Mask out the newer ones user package.mask (>package-version)
and/or
if you don't use package.mask emerge the old one using full package version,e.g:
emerge '=gentoo-sources-2.6.16-r13'
