I am compiling firefox-3.1b2 and it runs for a few minutes and then segfaults.

This is my latest MOZCONFIG:

mk_add_options MOZ_OBJDIR=@TOPSRCDIR@/firefox
ac_add_options --enable-application=browser
mk_add_options MOZ_CO_PROJECT=browser
ac_add_options --enable-libxul
ac_add_options --disable-optimize
ac_add_options --enable-64bit
ac_add_options --without-system-nspr
ac_add_options --enable-xft
ac_cv_visibility_pragma=no

My /etc/make.conf is pretty normal:
CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe"

I have the same problem with beta2 (icedtea6 Segfault). If I turn off java and javascript support works perfectly.
