Can't seem to find the Portage 2.2 thread - sorry if this topic has been covered.

I've been tracking Portage 2.2 for some time now. At some point "emerge --resume" suddenly started to imply "--skipfirst" by default. How do I disable that?
/M

man emerge then /skip, then n as needed?? 8O
I'm on 2.1.6 so I can't check directly, but my money is on something obvious like --no-skipfirst.

The man page unfortunately doesn't mention any --no-skipfirst, nor that the default behaviour has changed. It's difficult for me to test right now since I've already resumed this failed emerge and it's rarely a package fail on me. I'll google some more...

It now seems emerge didn't actually skip the package but instead moved it last because I noticed it tried to emerge the package again after all other had finished.

On a sidenote... I ran into bug 262567 compiling mplayer with GCC 4.3.3-r1 - the old GCC revision that were recently updated to fix this but without a proper revision bump... stupid stupid stupid :-) I'll mark this post as solved for now...
